I just got some horrible news from my friend Nicola at Argyll Pottery.

She tells me that Alan was in an accident riding his motorbike on Monday and was killed. I don't have any more of the details.
There's a little more info at Hannah McAndrew's blog.
She wanted our assistance in spreading the news and letting people know. I know most of you have a lot more traffic and bigger blogrolls than I do.
Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Boy - that is terrible news. I've been enjoying his blog. & I really love his work. My prayers are with his friends & family.
Hope you are starting to feel better as well. I'm sure this news was somewhat startling to you after your close call. You guys need to be careful!
very sad indeed, i have passed this on. i also enjoyed his blog...he is in my thoughts.
I didn't know Alan from his blog or in person, but have read about his death on quite a few blogs this morning. I'll be thinking of his family and friends.
